FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW MANY DOGS CAN YOU WALK AT ONCE?

As I am registered with East Lothian Council, I can walk up to six dogs at a time however, I currently take a maximum of four dogs on a group walk.  This is to ensure every dog gets all the attention they deserve.

MY DOG CAN'T BE OFF LEAD.  CAN YOU STILL TAKE THEM?

Absolutely!  Every dog needs a walk and that's no different for a pup that can't be off lead.  If you do not provide written consent for your dog to be off lead, they will be on a 'long line' meaning they still get a good run about and can mingle with their friends.

WHAT IF I'M OUT WHEN YOU COLLECT MY DOG?

That's not a problem.  As I have a Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check, I can hold a key for you.  I will attach a numbered keyring to ensure there is no identifiable information attached.  This will be kept securely when not in use.  The other option is having a key box and giving me the code.

HOW LONG DOES A WALK LAST?

Haddy Hounds walks last one hour.  This does not include pick up or drop off meaning more time to explore!

WHERE DO YOU GO FOR THE WALKS?

The quality of the walk is very important to me meaning there will be no pounding pavements.  Every walk will be different however we go to beaches, forests, lagoons etc.  This will change walk to walk to keep things fun and interesting.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO MEET YOU BEFORE YOU TAKE MY DOG OUT?

Yeah!  I always have a meet and greet with your dog at your home to discuss your requirements prior to walks taking place. These can be arranged for a time that suits for you.  It's also absolutely free with no pressure to go ahead.
